It’s a nice ax good quality work. I had a sharpen it and polish it because it wouldn’t even cut paper when I received it. The sheath that it came with is not bad but the rivet that keeps it together one was mangled very poor workmanship.

Thank you for your feedback!
Tomahawks are not supposed to be sharpened like knives to the point where they can cut paper. A tomahawk is a chopping and striking tool, so the edge geometry needs to be different. If a tomahawk is sharpened like a knife, the edge can become damaged much more quickly and may not withstand repeated impact loads.
So overall, the sharpening we provide is appropriate for the intended use, although of course you're free to adjust it to your own preferences.
Regarding the sheath, we're sorry that you received one with a rivet like this. It looks as though it may have been damaged during Customs inspection, as the shape of the impact is clearly visible.

Loved the item, and everything looks beautifully hand crafted.
Another exceptional piece. Just as pleased with this one as I am the first. Was waiting on this one and the mount, which I just received and it all goes together very well. Looks fantastic on the wall. Couldn’t be happier. It’s all perfect. Thank you again! Highly recommended!!!
The tomahawk arrived quickly and the packaging was top-notch. Comparing to sayoc, Ancientsmithy is good as hell in aesthetics and attention to detail. Great job!
I was looking for something with the style and rugged feel of a Winkler but at a more accessible price point, and found AncientSmithy. I got two tomahawks here! This one tomahawk is both beautiful and deadly. The design has this classic, handcrafted charm, yet feels extremely solid. Beyond satisfied with my purchase :)
AncientSmithy absolutely nailed it with this tomahawk. I own a few Winkler tomahawks, and I’d say this one stands shoulder-to-shoulder with them. The weight, balance, and craftsmanship are exceptional. The blade is sharp right out of the box, and the handle feels solid and comfortable even with extended use. Incredible job guys
I bought this nanook tomahawk mostly for camping and hunting. It's incredibly well made and sharp! Since my purchase, I've incorporated it in my Kali training. Formidable weapon! Perfect balance and size! I work in a rough area. This is a great deterrent to people wanting to do harm. Seeing someone walking with a tomahawk tends to make people think twice about starting trouble. Little do they know, I'm taking it into work every day to poke vent holes into 5 gallon cans to pour out the contents easier! Lol. They do t have to know that. I love this thing. Thank you for making a great tool at an even better price!
C'est un magnifique tomahak.
.... Une splendide œuvre d'art.
Très maniable et bien balancer.
Un vrai travail de professionel.
Je suis très satisfait.
Sûr, il sera de toutes mes sorties dans les forêts du nord Canadien.
This Tomahawk not only has a great appearance but also excels in functionality and durability. I am very satisfied with my purchase. It is a very well-crafted product. While its beautiful design makes it suitable as a decorative item, I use it as a regular "axe" for outdoor tasks. The spike also works exceptionally well. For those who are hesitant about purchasing it, I highly recommend going ahead with the purchase. You won't regret it.
Absolutely beautiful craftsmanship. I'm highly impressed with the level of quality. The tomahawk is perfect, and the decorative box is amazing. I love it.
Very happy with the tomahawk! Super solid feel, night weight (a little heavier than I was expecting), and balance. It feels like you could throw this against a brick wall and it would survive no problem. Would definitely recommend
This order was exactly as expected and the customer service was excellent! I needed this as a gift and emailed them about it since it was short notice. They were extremely accommodating since it was last minute. They delivered a high quality master piece and I greatly appreciate all their hard work to accommodate my needs.
This order went great! The hawk arrived in just a couple days and had a really nice thank you note included. It’s obviously good quality craftsmanship and hefty with well thought out hand positioning. Haven’t used it a whole lot yet but the spike sinks in deep into wood easily.
Incredible craftsmanship! I use tomahawks to recognize leadership excellence in my unit and Ancient Smithy is my new go-to. Price and quality far exceed what you'll find with CRKT and Cold Steel. While my purchasing effort is for recognition, what you receive is a solid, functioning tool/weapon. The piece came razor sharp, purposely packed, and oiled. The hand written thank you note was a nice tough as well. "Slava Ukraini!"
I’m very pleased with my purchase, the tomahawk is very well made and has an excellent finish to it, the kydex sheath is also well made and sturdy… overall I am very pleased with my purchase and look forward to making further purchases in the future… I highly recommend this seller.
