It’s a nice ax good quality work. I had a sharpen it and polish it because it wouldn’t even cut paper when I received it. The sheath that it came with is not bad but the rivet that keeps it together one was mangled very poor workmanship.

Tomahawks are not supposed to be sharpened like knives to the point where they can cut paper. A tomahawk is a chopping and striking tool, so the edge geometry needs to be different. If a tomahawk is sharpened like a knife, the edge can become damaged much more quickly and may not withstand repeated impact loads.
So overall, the sharpening we provide is appropriate for the intended use, although of course you're free to adjust it to your own preferences.
Regarding the sheath, we're sorry that you received one with a rivet like this. It looks as though it may have been damaged during Customs inspection, as the shape of the impact is clearly visible.

I bought this nanook tomahawk mostly for camping and hunting. It's incredibly well made and sharp! Since my purchase, I've incorporated it in my Kali training. Formidable weapon! Perfect balance and size! I work in a rough area. This is a great deterrent to people wanting to do harm. Seeing someone walking with a tomahawk tends to make people think twice about starting trouble. Little do they know, I'm taking it into work every day to poke vent holes into 5 gallon cans to pour out the contents easier! Lol. They do t have to know that. I love this thing. Thank you for making a great tool at an even better price!

While its beautiful design makes it suitable as a decorative item, I use it as a regular "axe" for outdoor tasks. The spike also works exceptionally well. For those who are hesitant about purchasing it, I highly recommend going ahead with the purchase. You won't regret it.

Very happy with the tomahawk! Super solid feel, night weight (a little heavier than I was expecting), and balance. It feels like you could throw this against a brick wall and it would survive no problem. Would definitely recommend
This order was exactly as expected and the customer service was excellent! I needed this as a gift and emailed them about it since it was short notice. This order went great! The hawk arrived in just a couple days and had a really nice thank you note included. It’s obviously good quality craftsmanship and hefty with well thought out hand positioning. Haven’t used it a whole lot yet but the spike sinks in deep into wood easily.
