It's great fun and exercise to do axe throwing. I have other practice axes, however these are my own personal favorites. The build is very nice and the head is tight to the handle. Beautiful finish work. I like to display them also. Note that they should be left out of the leather covers to avoid rust. The balance is great and I was hitting the bulls-eye in no time. They adorn my armory wall when not in use, and this set is used exclusively by me only. Each has it's own name, thoughtfully carved by Ancient Smity on opposing sides to show on display.

Received this axe today and immediately took it down to my local axe throwing league.
It throws really well and is IATF compliant which was really important to me.
The build quality is extremely high and it stands up to the rigours of a rookie axe thrower really well.
The delivery time was really quick and the communication was excellent.

The axe feels great in the hand: solid grip and surprisingly easy to throw. I’ve already tested it a couple times and I’m really happy with how it performs. Definitely a keeper!
A good tool should feel like your own from the first grip. That feeling comes from hundreds of small decisions—balance, proportions, the shape of the handle. It's great fun and exercise to do axe throwing. I have other practice axes, however these are my own personal favorites. The build is very nice and the head is tight to the handle. Beautiful finish work. I like to display them also. Note that they should be left out of the leather covers to avoid rust. The balance is great and I was hitting the bulls-eye in no time.
