Fast/great customer service when I called about not receiving my order. Informed me that there was a wait time on making more, once it came in I was extremely satisfied with it. Good weight, balance, nice thickness and grip, with the shape edge and weight it easily cut through a branch with little effort. Will definitely order more

My second one! However, the first came wrapped in a cardboard box, excellent. This last one wasn't wrapped, no real packing on the inside and the hatchet was getting ready to fall outta the box... no customs inspection form so? Still like the hatchet and I'm not keeping the packing, it made it.
This hawk is amazing! I got it yesterday and was so impressed with the quality and craftsmanship! It arrived faster than expected and am so, so happy I purchased this. I’ve wanted this for a long time and finally purchased it and am glad I did!

I cannot recommend highly enough the Wendigo tactical tomahawk with full-length handle and polymer composite handgrips. This is a tomahawk and practical tool of the highest quality. The full-length tang is over 1/4-inch thick and gives the tomahawk tremendous structural strength and durability, and the fit and finish of the polymer micarta-like handgrips is superb, seamlessly and securely fusing with the internal metal tang. The curves and shape of the tomahawk handle allow many different hand positions for gripping the tomahawk to be employed, and the flared/wider bottom section ensures the tomahawk will not slip from the user's hand, even under wet or slippery conditions. I am not a metallurgist, but the steel of this tomahawk's tang seems of high quality, with a shiny finish and well-honed edges to the cutting edge and rear pointed section, always ensuring the overall structural integrity and strength of the tomahawk's head. The heft and strength of the metal tang is something that leaves an immediate impression: the user knows this tomahawk will handle hard use over a lifetime, and that the handgrips are most securely fastened along the length of the handle. I chose the polymer composite grips because they seem more durable than wooden handgrips that could crack or splinter. The handgrips can also be easily removed and refastened via hex bolts. This is a tomahawk of the highest quality and design. Its weight is enough to impart strength and also helps add inertia to strikes and blows, whether in self-defense or everyday use like chopping wood. But the tomahawk is light and handy enough to be wielded effectively and with ease. I could not be happier with the Wendigo tactical tomahawk. The tomahawk itself is excellent, unfortunately it arrived with the tip bent and the bottom edge bent and dull as well, likely due to shipping. Overall happy, but wish I could have gotten a completely intact model.

I bought this as a stand in for my 1995 or so Winkler that I have in reserve for my emergent bug out. The communication between myself and the seller was excellent, the shipping was quicker than expected, packaging very well done. Just one issue, I will say that I've thrown this hatchet at a wooden target and she flies beautifully, lobbed it down the stairs without loosening and fasteners understanding I'm not easy on things when it comes to "gotta go," the rivet that secures the strap to secure the leather cover broke. Please know that I pulled on it as if to quick draw the hatchet from this and I'll simply reattach with some other hardware. I'll be sharing w/the boys and I have no doubt we'll be doing business again. However, I'll be upgrading to the better cover, with my next hatchet purchase. Thank you, I'll be in t

Quality item useful for defense in areas without ability for firearm
Arrived pretty quick and without incident. When I unboxed it I was impressed with the quality and workmanship put into this tomahawk. Really well made, solid, and hefty piece of steel...this will come in handy for splitting coconuts ;P
I can not believe the quality of the material used. The non slip hanlde with the angle of the grip makes using this axe a dream. There are other such axes on line that use big names but this one shines. Thank you very much...T.
