I purchased a tomahawk from them. When i opened the box and held it i was immediately impressed!! The weight and sharpness of the blade are unbelievable! Feel the power for yourself and reach out to them as they will customize your purchase!!
Seems very well crafted and sturdy. I'm interested to see how the blade keeps an edge while being used. I really like the design and feel of these. They are a bit heavier than other Hawks that I have, but these seem worth the added weight and should be a really durable hawk. The tang is probably 3/8" thick in the handle and head. There are no blemishes or concerns to speak of. I really like it so far. I bought a pair of the Winkler style Hawks and am very happy so far.
The craftsmanship of these hatchets are second to none. Well done Ancient Smithy well done.
