Excellent craftsmanship! Very well balanced and fairly sharp right out of the box. I ended up gifting this one to a close friend and am currently waiting for mine to get here. Will do business with Ancient Smithy again.

I just received mine last week. I got it much faster than I thought I would. This is a solid, sturdy piece of equipment. Fantastic craftsmanship. This will be staying in my truck, next to my first aid, and emergency kit. I’m very happy with this purchase.
Excellent quality better than I was expected I would trust any product on this page
Thank you smithy. This tomahawk is awesome!
Got my model some time ago but decided to make a review only now! Quality axe would definitely recommend
Was a gift for my husband. He is extremely happy with how it is made and the quality. It balances well and is nice to practice escrima. Shipping was fast.
I had previously purchased one of the tomahawks. The price was very reasonable so I was expecting a functional, good quality survival / fighting tool. However, I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the box. The quality was far better than I expected! The tomahawk was beautifully crafted, with a great detail! And when I put it to work, it exceeded my expectations! It held the edge well, but it was also easy and quick to sharpen it! I was so impressed that I purchased another one! Great job, AncientSmithy!!!
I received my compact polymer handle tomahawk with leather sheath. I'm not a professional weapon analyzer but I'm vary picky about the weapons I buy. This hawk has exceeded my expectations. I expected cheap, thin, and stamped. I got something that feels so good in the hand. The fitment is perfect you can tell it was hand finished but dun with care. I'm to often disappointed with purchases such as this but this IS NOT ONE OF THOSE TIME. Thank you.
Extremely impressed by this tomahawk! The quality of both the blade and handle is undeniable. Not too heavy, with a well-made handle allowing for a perfect and comfortable grip, an impressive blade and great overall craftmanship, this compact tactical tomahawk is a winner! Kudos to Ancient Smithy for a great service and such a great price, too!
Super high quality, love the texture and various grip options. Ordered another, different one after getting the first one. Can’t have too many kickass tomahawks I say!
I’ve been looking for a tactical tomohawk that would suit my everyday needs. Your hawk was just what I was looking for. Thank you so much! I’ll be recommending you to my friends.
I just got this thing in the mail and it’s incredible. The balance of the piece and fit in hand is impeccable. Its construction is solid. The heft of the tomahawk is complemented beautifully by the shape and texture of the handle, which offers you complete control and confidence in multiple hand positions. The composite material of the handle so closely resembles a real hardwood, that I was not sure it was composite on first inspection. The thickness of the head will no doubt hold up to a lifetime of heavy use. The rawness of the steel is left to be seen as the precision and skill of the shaping and honing of the sharp edges and points are formed. The finer points and sharp edges of the head converge from broad angles and are sure to prevent bending or breaking at the tips. It feels so good in hand, I can’t stop picking it up. You don’t need one of these, but you NEED one of these!
Very high quality and easy to use. Shipping was great, personal note from the smithy. Will be using this downrange.
Very happy with it, solid craftsmanship
Love my new tomahawk, it is everything I was hoping for and better. Seen some beautiful ones out there and they are big $$, then found AS page. Read reviews and decided to get one, and this was a smart move. It was much more affordable and I did not have to give up quality craftsmanship. I am planning to get another tomahawk/axe the price to quality cannot be beat. I need gear and equip. that holds up to the cold back country of Canada without breaking down, and falling apart. The cold is hard in my equipment and I do hope that I can come back here years from now and show off what I purchased, I have high hopes and expectations.
This is simply the best tomahawk for the price. You’re not kicking out 2x3x or 4x for a functional and properly weighted instrument. It comes sharp, I have found that it easily sharpened with the right stones. It is small enough to conceal with a hip coat, fits into a back back, and drops into the nightstand. It has three hand formats to utilize for different applications. Solid.
Feels great
Didn’t expect it to perform that well – really surprised me! Compact and sharp - evrything nice
Very pleased with the entire purchase. High quality combat tomahawk compares well with similar, more expensive items. Timely service. Thanks!
Fits great in my hand – super comfortable grip and well balanced I’m impressed
This axe is perfect. The full tang definitely gives it substance. Grip is well made. Has a nice “heft” when swinging it. And the extra personalization is just what I wanted!
The tomahawk was very well made. I will be ordering from this seller again.
Great little backup tool. Feels good in the hand and well balanced. I ordered one as a gift for a friend, and it arrived pretty dull, this one arrived nice and sharp, right out of the box!

Dies sind die besten taktischen Tomahawks auf dem Markt. Super Handwerkskunst. Ich habe mittlerweile 4 Stück und die Qualität ist besser als die Marke mit dem W…. Vielen Dank und bis zum nächsten Mal.
It's easily one of the best made blades in my collection. My Busse knices are the only ones I own that this comes close to. Very, very well made.

Beautiful!! Awesome quality and feels perfect in the hand!!👍
Absolutely fantastic, the tomahawk far exceeded both my expectations and the photos. This is a first-rate top end product, and I'll definitely be buying another version very soon.
Outstanding product at a fair price as opposed to name brand products 3-4 times the price. I would have liked the axe a bit sharper
Well made ,lovely engraving A++
